Mystery Creek Pavilion

At 8064m², the Mystery Creek Pavilion is a premier event venue ideal for exhibitions, industry shows, large conventions,
concerts and festivals.

Home of the NZ Agricultural Fieldays, Equidays and the Transport and Heavy Equipment Expo, the Mystery Creek Pavilion
is ideal for all major exhibitions. The event venue can be hired blank or we can assist with partitioning, carpeting, staging and special
effects lighting.

Facilities include ample toilets and showers, and a fully-equipped kitchen with large food preparation area. Grandstand and flat floor seating can be combined to create a 5500-seat stage-focused venue. For the truly large scale, combine the Pavilion with the Convention Centre to seat up to 8000.

Convention Centre

The Mystery Creek Convention Centre is the perfect corporate event venue, adding a versatile 2000m² of modern exhibition and conference space to the already-impressive Mystery Creek Pavilion. The Convention Centre can be used as a stand-alone facility or in conjunction with the Pavilion. This facility is used extensively for gala dinners, conferences, exhibitions, school and society balls and
theatre-style events.

Functions from 100 to 2,000 pax are ideal in the Convention Centre. The venue can be hired blank or we can assist with a full range of options, such as seating, tables, partitions, flooring, staging and special effects lighting. Whatever your support requirements, our events team is able to ensure a successful event.

Grandstands, flat floor seating or a combination of the two can be utilised in the Convention Centre, or the venue can be hired empty. For the truly large scale, combine with the Mystery Creek Pavilion to seat up to 8,000. Top acoustic specifications means your event will sound as good as it looks, and a full range of technical support services are available. Car parking for up to 10,000 vehicles
is adjacent.

Convention Suites

Entering through the Mystery Creek Pavilion's impressive glass foyer, the Convention Suites can be accessed via stairs or the glass elevator. The 260m² Convention Suites overlook the Mystery Creek Pavilion and Convention Centre, with views of the property on the opposite side. The Suites are commonly used for seminars and presentations, corporate meetings or lunches and can be utilised as three separate rooms for smaller groups or used as one larger room.

High quality facilities include a green room with lounge and make-up space, changing rooms, ample toilets and showers, and a fully equipped kitchen with large food preparation area.

The Bledisloe

The Bledisloe is a unique events venue and facility located in the picturesque Heritage Village – a beautiful and peaceful park-like
setting. The Bledisloe is the ideal event venue for hosting wedding receptions, special family events, conferences, school balls, corporate events, AGMs or product launches.

The Bledisloe has its own special ambiance with views of the lake and Heritage Village. The facility can be reduced in size to cater for smaller functions in an intimate atmosphere. Cobbled terraces overlooking the lake and Heritage Village offer an indoor/outdoor
entertainment option.

The Bledisloe is a flexible function and event venue that can be adapted to suit your requirements, big or small, indoor or outdoor.

Fully serviced with a comprehensive bar, full commercial kitchen, unique lighting system, reception foyer and is fully carpeted. Ample toilets, including baby-changing facilities, are located within the venue.

Heritage Village

Event Space
The Heritage Village offers a unique environment for functions, both intimate and on a larger scale. The Village, with its agricultural surrounds presents a one-of-a-kind backdrop for weddings, functions, dinners and launches. Our events team is able to provide a visually-stunning and highly-functional indoor or outdoor experience to suit almost any occasion.

Within the Heritage Village sits a lot of Waikato's history, with a small-town garage, school, hospital, blacksmith, church and the former Kihikihi jail, as well as the National Dairy Museum and a restored DC3 top-dressing plane. All of these elements can be made available to your guests.

Mystery Creek Events Centre and the NZ National Fieldays Society aspires to connect our visitors to their rural roots by using our collection to tell stories of innovation, ingenuity, and rural heritage. The Heritage Village runs interactive education programmes for school groups
wishing to delve into the history of the Waikato, with hands-on access to both modern technology and artifacts from days gone by.

Location and Directions
Mystery Creek Museum is located in the Waikato, 15 minutes South of Hamilton. Enter the Mystery Creek Museum through Gate 3 of the Mystery Creek Event Centre, off Mystery Creek Road.
