Mystery Creek Events Centre is at 125 Mystery Creek Road, Ōhaupō, New Zealand.

As a general rule, events that attract over 5000 visitors or stops, delays, or increases road and/or pedestrian traffic are legally required to have a registered traffic management plan. If you are unsure if you will need one, local Police may be able to offer initial advice, before being referred to a registered traffic management provider (TMP). Mystery Creek Events Centre work with several TMPs, and can refer our event clients to these services.

We have three preferred suppliers that you must use for catering who are familiar with our venue and have a range of customisable menu options available. These are:

  • Off The Track
  • Montana Food & Events
  • Kerr & Ladbrook

We also allow food vendors onsite by arrangement, provided they have a current EWOF (Electrical Warrant of Fitness) if plugging into power and must be registered with their local council.

As a venue, Mystery Creek Events Centre is responsible for providing a safe working environment, as well as establishing and educating users on venue use protocols including those that manage hazards, and minimise risks and emergencies. As venue users you are responsible for any introduced hazards, this includes notifying us of your intent, and providing risk management processes to reduce or remove the likelihood of harm in the form of a Hazard ID.

We can provide you with our venue Hazard ID with existing hazards that you can add-to with your own event-specific details.
