The New Zealand National Gymsport Championships is a 5 day event with over 1000 athletes coming from all over New Zealand to complete in the National finals. The event transforms the Mystery Creek Pavilion and Convention Suites into a large competing area complete with grandstands for supporters.

The brand new music festival, Shiverdown proudly sponsored by Mystery Creek Events Centre, will bring the hottest Kiwi bands to the Waikato in an eight hour spectacular. The Aotearoa reggae, dub and dance music event is set to take place at Mystery Creek Events Centre on 23 October 2010 and is sure to tantalise your musical tastebuds. New Zealand's premium artists will headline the event including; The Black Seeds, Katchafire, Rhombus and dDub supported with Knights of the Dub Table, The Downtown Special Crew and Staylo.
